Hoy os traigo un nuevo post en el blog donde veremos qué es un armario cápsula y cómo crear uno. Un armario cápsula fue un término que surgió en el siglo XX, pero gracias a la colección debut de Donna Karan, ha ido cobrando fuerza, y por eso ha llegado a nuestros días. El objetivo de este término pretendía ser una respuesta a la difícil pregunta: ¿Qué me pongo hoy?. Por tanto, este término podría definirse por prendas básicas que nos facilitan la vida y que te veas guapa sin necesidad de tener el armario lleno de ropa. Sin embargo, armario cápsula parece que se asemeja con fondo de armario, pero no lo es. Un fondo de armario está formado por prendas básicas que son esenciales en todo momento independientemente de la estación en la que nos encontremos. Por el contrario, en un armario cápsula tenemos prendas básicas que corresponden a la estación en la que estemos.
Por eso, hoy os enseño a crear un armario cápsula para la próxima estación, es decir, la primavera.

Today I bring you a new post on the blog where we'll see what is a capsule wardrobe and how to create one. A capsule wardrobe was a term that emerged in the XX century, but thanks to Donna Karan's debut collection, it has been gaining momentum and that is why it has reached our days. The aim of this term was intended to be an answer to the difficult question: What shall I wear today?. Therefore, this term could be defined by basic garments that make life easier and make you look beautiful without the need to have a wardrobe full of clothes. However, capsule wardrobe seems to be similar to a basic wardrobe, but it is not. A basic wardrobe is made up of basic garments that are essential at all times regardless of the of season we are in. On the contrary, in a capsule wardrobe we have basic garments that correspond to the season we are in.
Therefore, today I show you how to create a capsule wardrobe for the next season, that is, spring.
Lo primero de todo, debemos definir nuestro estilo de vida, es decir, las actividades que solemos realizar. Lo segundo, elegir la paleta de colores que te guste y que destaques, puesto que siempre habrá unos colores con los que destaques más o menos. Y por último, elegir qué prendas quieres que haya en tu armario y pensar en posibles combinaciones. A continuación, les enseño varias prendas que combinan entre sí y que son perfectas para nuestro armario cápsula de primavera.
First of all, we have to define our lifestyle, that is, the activities that we usually do. Secondly, choose the colour palette that you like and that you stand out since there will always be some colours in which you stand out more or less. And the last thing is to choose which garments you want to have in your wardrobe and think about possible combinations. Here I show you a few pieces clothes that go great together and are perfect for our spring capsule wardrobe.
1. Americana y pantalón de pinzas
Este tipo de conjunto es ideal para aquellas ocasiones en las que queramos arreglarnos un poco más. Sin embargo, este conjunto también se está usando para nuestro día a día, ya que con unas deportivas queda super informal. Por lo tanto, es una buena idea tenerlo en nuestro armario, puesto que nos serviría para todo tipo de ocasión.
1. Blazer and creased trousers
This type of outfit is ideal for those occasions that we want to dress up a little more. However, this outfit is also being used for our day to day, as it looks super casual with a pair of trainers. Therefore, it's a good idea to have it in our wardrobe since it would be useful for all kinds of occasions.
2. Jeans holgados de corte recto
Los vaqueros son una prenda esencial en nuestro armario, pero en cada temporada hay algún tipo que se lleva más que otro. En esta temporada, se va a llevar los holgados de corte recto.

Jeans are an essential garment in our wardrobe, but in every season, there is one type that is worm more than another. This season, loose-fitting straight-cut jeans are in.
3. Jersey de rayas marineras
Como les comenté hace unas semanas, las rayas vienen pisando fuerte esta temporada. No solo las veremos en azul, sino que también las veremos en negro o verde.
3. Sailor striped sweater
As I commented you some weeks ago, stripes are coming in strong this season. We will not only going to see them in blue, but also in black or green.
4. Cárdigan
Los cárdigan son la típica rebeca de punto que solemos llevar en primavera, ya que es una prenda de abrigo que no abriga mucho. Esta rebeca la podemos combinar con una camiseta básica y con unos vaqueros, como ven un outfit bastante sencillo pero cómodo.

Cardigans are the typical knitted cardigan that we usually wear in spring, as it is a warm garment that is not very warm. This cardigan can be combined with a basic T-shirt and a pair of jeans, as you can see, it's a very simple but comfortable outfit.
5. Vestido camisero
Este tipo de vestido es uno de mis preferidos, ya que es un vestido que lo puedes adaptar a tu gusto. Si quieres lo puedes llevar suelto o añadirle algún cinturón ancho o incluso, puedes llevarlo con deportivas o con botas. Además, el corte de este vestido es muy favorecedor para todo tipo de cuerpos.
5. Shirt dress
This type of dress is one of my favourites since it's a dress that you can adapt it to your taste. If you want it, you can wear it loose or add it some wide belt or even you can wear with trainers or boots. Besides, the cut of this dress is very flattering for all body types.
6. Sobrecamisas
La sobrecamisa es una prenda que también la puedes adaptar a tu gusto o al tiempo que tengamos, es decir, en invierno, la usamos como un jersey acompañada de un abrigo. Sin embargo, en primavera, la llevamos como una camisa abierta junto con una camiseta. En mi opinión, me encantan ya que te facilitan el que ponerte aquellos días en los que no hace ni frío ni calor.
6. Shacket
The shacket is a garment that can also adapt it to your taste or to the weather we have, that is, in winter, we use it as a sweater with a coat. However, in spring, we use it as an open shirt with a T-shirt. In my opinion, I love them as they make it easier to wear them on days when it's neither hot nor cold.
7. Gabardina
Como les comenté en el post del domingo, la gabardina es una prenda esencial para el entretiempo. Además, se puede llevar tanto en invierno como en primavera, ya que la adaptamos al tiempo que tengamos. Aparte, la gabardina es como la americana en el sentido de que ambas prendas son sofisticadas y al llevarlas, nos vemos muy elegantes.
7. Trench coat
As I commented you on Sunday's, the trench coat is an essential garment for the in-between season. Besides, it can be worn both in winter and spring, as we can adapt it to the weather that we have. Moreover, the trench coat is like the blazer in the sense that both garments are sophisticated and when we wear them, we look very elegant.
8. Botas cowboy.
Estas botas llevan en tendencia durante mucho tiempo y la verdad es que no tiene pinta de que vayan a dejar de serlo. En mi opinión, me encantan, puesto que las puedes llevar a tu gusto, ya sea con unos vaqueros o incluso con vestidos.
8. Cowboy boots.
These boots have been on trend for a long time and they don't look like they're going to stop being trendy. In my opinion, I love them, since you can wear them as you like, either with jeans or with dresses.
